ILKON. Ilkeston Contemporary Arts is a vibrant community arts centre bringing creative arts to this part of the East Midlands. Housed in a former derelict Methodist Church ILKON employs and artist in residence to coordinate with the local community to ensure an exciting programme of events throughoutv the year. The artists featured in Manchester are graduates from De Montfort Univerisity. ILKON have formed links with local schools and universities working closely together to demonstrate the creativity of the East Midlands.
