Trastero 109 is an independent project set up by two painters from Palma De Mallorca: Jose Fiol and Tomas Piza. Set up in a garage storage space, the aim of Trastero 109 is to have a small show space for exhibitions by emerging Spanish and international artists. Open since 2015, the project invites a curator and one or two artists to create a bespoke exhibition on-site. Trastero 109 has also taken part in fairs such as Swab Barcelona, Super-Simetrica in Madrid, and now the Manchester Contemporary 2023.
